About Jane

Metal smithing

I am a student at SIUC, my major is Communication design with a minor in Industrial design and another minor in small metals. I am currently taking the intermediate courses. I have taken the casting course and I will be furthering my experience with it even after the semester is over. Being able to create things from metal has been a joy and privilege.

2021-2022

I graduated from Metea Valley High School

Leaveing high school with graphic design and leadership expirence due to working on the schools award winning newspaper/ magizine team as a editor.

2022-2023

Admitted into Southern Illinois University

Started in-person classes over the summer of my freshmen year, taking basic gen-eds courses. Finished of my freshman year strong with Working at the Future Scholars Program.

2023-2024

Started take Metalsmithing& Blacksmithing courses

Started taking the metals courses in SIUC my fall semester of my sophomore year. Fell in love with the programs and decided to continue with the courses.
